Do you require a deposit when booking a move?Yes, a small deposit is required to secure your booking. Generally we require the first hour as a deposit. The balance is due on the day of your move.

What is the cancellation policy?Cancellation Policy – Off-Peak Season (September to April) 72-Hour Notice Required: To avoid losing your deposit, we kindly request that you notify us at least 72 hours before your scheduled move date. Cancellation Policy – Peak Season (May to August) During our peak season, we have a higher demand for our services, so we kindly ask for the following: 7-Day Notice Required: To cancel or reschedule your move during our busy season, we require at least 7 days' notice prior to your scheduled move date. Non-Refundable Deposit: Please note that any deposit paid is non-refundable if the cancellation occurs within 7 days of the scheduled move. Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate you based on availability.

What methods of payment do you accept?We accept all major credit cards (not AMEX), e-transfers, wire transfers, cheques and cash. Payment must be made on the day of your move. Please note that credit card payments have a 3% transaction fee applied to the total of your invoice.

Should I tip the movers?Tipping is never required, but always appreciated. If you're satisfied with our service, you're welcome to leave a tip at your discretion. Tips can be given directly to the movers at the end of the day or included when settling your final bill.

How long will my move take?At Transport MC, our all-inclusive rate is based on the time it takes to complete your move. While we can't guarantee an exact time, we promise to complete your move as quickly, efficiently, and safely as possible.

How can I help the moving process?You can help by packing and organizing items beforehand, ensuring pathways are clear, and labeling boxes. This helps the movers work more efficiently. Additionally, please ensure there is adequate parking available for the moving truck near your home or building. This will help avoid delays and ensure a smoother and quicker move.

Will the movers have tools?Every truck is equipped with a toolbox containing basic tools for disassembling and reassembling standard furniture, as well as handling any issues that may arise during the move.
